The manufacturer is experiencing delays with the production of the solar panels for installation. At this time, we do not know when the panels will be available. However, we are accepting registrations to lock-in your rate (with no money down or financial obligation) and to get in line for your solar panel rental.
This section provides more information about the steps involved in applying for, and receiving your Rental Solar Electricity System.
Step 1. TODAY: Apply to Lock in Your Rate.Click Here and you will be routed to the Manufacturer's site. You will be asked to provide information about you and your house. This important first step will LOCK IN your low rental rate, and will assure your place in line to receive your system. There is no financial obligation at this time.
Your exact monthly rental fee is calculated based on the applicable per killowat hour rate, and your estimated electricity needs. This amount will be similar to your current monthly electric costs - and the exact amount is calculated after an engineer performs the site assessment (see step 4).
Step 2. Upon receipt - Sign and Return the Forward Rental Agreement Application that will be sent to you either as a pdf file via email or via 'snail mail'. There is still no financial obligation at this time. You still have the option to cancel your application with no penalty.
** Note the remaining steps will not occur until the manufacturer has panels available for installation. We do not yet have a firm timeline establish for this, although we have been advised that it will be 2009 or later before the panels will be produced and ready for installation. Click here to view a recent letter to current customers concerning the delay.
Step 3. Customer Verification. Someone from the Manufacturer may call to verify your application.
Step 4. Site Assessment. Once the panels are available, a Technician will schedule and conduct a Site Assessment. They will present you with a design proposal for your review. Click here for more information.
Step 5. Proposal Acceptance. If you accept the proposal you will provide a security deposit and proceed with the installation process. This is when a financial obligation begins. Click here for more information.
Step 6. Installation. The manufacturer will procure the necessary components, permits and approvals and will install your Solar System as designed.
Step 7. Rent and Save! Congratulations - you are now Part of the Solution! Your system will be monitored regularly and maintained as needed by the Manufacturer.

Step 4. Site Assessment. The engineer will take measurements, and will evaluate your prospective solar installation surface, including orientation to the sun and shading factors. The engineer will present you with a computerized design. You will have an opportunity to ask questions and discuss alternative designs.
The engineer will review your historical energy consumption, and can suggest potential measures that could decrease your electricity usage.
Step 5. Proposal Acceptance. Once you agree to the proposal, you will pay a security deposit of between $500-$1,000, depending upon the size of your designed system. This deposit is required since the manufacturer is putting something of considerable value on your roof. The deposit is refunded at the end of your contract, assuming you have complied with your rental obligations.
